Last month I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in Tempe, Arizona –it was the first time I’d photographed a wedding, and my first foray into black and white photography. I’ve generally shunned B&W in the past , as I really like the natural quality of the color in my photographs, but I was nonetheless quite satisfied by the way the desaturated imagery complemented the journalistic style of photography I was aiming for that evening, in addition to way it figured into the more formal shots.
